Things are good for the mind
What is this glorious time of year you might say? If you agreed that it’s approaching springtime, you’re exactly right, when the sunbeams are shining more intensely, the weather is becoming warmer, and nature is putting her most beautiful face forward. The whole world is awakening yet again, trees are sequentially greening, and flowers are blooming all around.
But better than that is having every reason to get out there and soak in as much sunshine as possible. Spring is kind of like Mother Nature’s way of inviting us to come outside and play. Here is an international list of things to do this spring.
A Hike:
Take a hike with that friend who makes you roar with laughter. Eat peanut butter and jelly sandwiches on a riverbank. Get playful and end up in the mud with friends. There’s no better place to discover a friend’s joy or creativity than in the outdoors. Go out there. Seize your chance to experience the outdoors in a fun and memorable way. And a bonding trip for your father and you would be great. Revel in the sights and sounds of the blooming town, with the birds and the fresh air. There’s nothing worse than feeling all alone in the streets.
A Picnic:
Invite your friends and family for an outdoor picnic game! Spread your blanket and picnic basket under a shade of a big beautiful tree, and place your snacks. Share jokes and stories while eating your sandwiches, fruits or crackers. A game could be heard from the children’s as for the adult they just lay down under the tree.
Start a Garden:
Find a sunspot on your property, in your yard or on the windowsill. Dig up a patch of earth or get some pots and fill them with fertile soil. Go to the nursery or look through the seed catalogue for your favourite flowers, herbs or veggies. Pop them in the ground, according to the directions on the seed packets or in the plant tags, water them respectfully and let them grow. With a little love and tender care, your garden, will flourish, and eventually you will have a riot of beautiful, happy colours gracing your home.
Biking or Cycling:
Get on your bike and get out there this spring! You’ll love the cool April wind in your face as you pedal around the blossoming landscape through street and forest trails. Make it an activity for one or many — biking in spring is a very good way to stay active and enjoy the outdoors.
What are you waiting for? Let’s go enjoy this weather together! Go out and enjoy the sunshine and fresh air. Whether you want to go on a walk, ride a bike, or have a picnic with your favourite people, there is a ton to do outside. Let’s get the most out of the precious time we have together.
